The 21st Annual Santa Clarita Valley Soccer Showdown welcomes you to the beautiful Santa Clarita Valley of Southern California. The regions of Area 10-S - Region 46 Saugus, Region 677 Canyon Country, Region 678 Valencia-Newhall and Region 1441 Castaic-Val Verde are proud to bring you the Showdown once again.
Information about the 2012 Showdown is below. This year, all team registration applications and referee forms must be completed online. Team rosters will only be accepted using the Tournament Team Roster Form with a signed eAYSO roster attached. Signed applications are due by March 15, 2012 and signed player rosters are due by March 28, 2012.

| Where: | Four venues in the Santa Clarita Valley. Concessions will be available at each venue. There is no charge for parking. EMTs will be available. William S. | Who: | AYSO Teams, Boys & Girls Divisions, U19, U16, U14 (11 v 11), U12 (9 v 9) and U10 (7 v 7). U16, U19 (18 players max.), U14 (15 players max.), U12 (12 players max.), U10 (10 players max.) |
| What: | Each team will be guaranteed 3 games in pool play (60 min. for U19, U16 & U14, 50 min. for U12 & U10). |
| Awards: | All players and 2 coaches per team will receive a tournament pin. All players on first, second, third and fourth place teams receive a trophy or medal. Referees receive a tournament pin, T-shirt, flipping coin and lunch. |
| Entry Fee: | $500 for U14, U16 & U19, $475 for U12 and $450 for U10 (Fully refundable upon acceptance up to 30 days before the tournament and refundable after only if a replacement team can be found). If the tournament is canceled for any reason, entry fee is fully refunded. Best efforts will be made to reschedule if the tournament is postponed for any reason. |
| Referee Fee: | $200, Refundable by Region Check within 14 days following the tournament provided all referee assignments have been completed. We give preference on tournament acceptance to teams that bring a qualified referee team. |
| Next Steps: | Complete the online registration, referee team form and player roster. Write ONE Region Check for the combined entry fee and referee fee made payable to AYSO Area 10-S - Santa Clarita Showdown. Acceptance & T-shirt pre-order form: Within two weeks of receipt of application. T-shirt pre-orders and team rosters: Due March 28. Application & Roster must be signed by your Regional Commissioner! Application must also be signed by the head coach.. Schedule, final rules and referee assignments will be mailed by April 12. Referee Refunds: Within 14 days following the tournament. |
